PR + MKTG BOOTCAMP, March 2011

AVAILABLE WORKSHOPS:

Media and Presentation Training

Moderator: Carrie Fox

Description: A key tenant of media engagement is that one cannot be media trained for life. In preparation for planned or potential media interviews, this session will ensure all designated spokespersons within your organization have a strong readiness for media interviews, speaking engagements, and press opportunities. C.Fox has hosted group and one-on-one media trainings for a variety of different types of organizations. We have conducted brief "lunch and learn" sessions, half-day training sessions, as well as intensive full-day sessions, and will customize this workshop based on the needs of your spokespeople. Our media training sessions include successful tips on interviewing with the media, as well as how to handle a crisis, and critical public presentation skills. We will practice several types of questions (such as "the loaded question", "the hypothetical question" and "the baited question") and how to respond to each. The media training also includes several practice interviews to test messaging dos and don'ts. The entire session will be recorded and a follow up analysis will be delivered to each spokesperson.

The C.Fox team has worked with some of the nation's leading nonprofit organizations, international aid organizations, retail companies, professional athletes and authors, including and an array of C-level spokespeople to prepare them for national and international broadcast interviews, long format documentaries, public presentations and testimony and satellite media tours.
