Carrie Fox, President
Carrie Fox brings a smart and savvy approach to communications. As President and founder of C.Fox Communications, she is responsible for the overall strategic direction of the agency, manages all public relations activities within the firm and ensures that all client goals are achieved. Since starting her firm in 2004, Carrie has provided strategic communications counsel, media relations, writing and creative services to major trade organizations, a nationally recognized gourmet food chain, a leading prize philanthropy organization and a wide range of non profits.

Prior to founding C.Fox, Carrie worked at Washington, DC based Prism Public Affairs, where she handled media relations, strategic positioning efforts and event management for a variety of clients in the non profit sector as well as on Capitol Hill. She also spent a number of years as Director of Communications for Baltimore’s Ripken Baseball, LLC which was founded to manage Hall of Famer Cal Ripken, Jr.’s many efforts, including his nationally recognized youth baseball initiative. The early portion of her career was spent at a national magazine and in various public affairs firms in Northern NJ.

 
 
Brian Fox, Managing Director
As Managing Director, Brian is responsible for business development strategy and all aspects of client marketing execution within the marketing verticals at C.Fox Communications.

Brian joined C.Fox Communications in 2008 from AARP in Washington, DC. There he helped develop and execute marketing strategy within AARP’s for profit subsidiary, working on product brand identity, positioning and messaging and national direct-to-consumer advertising focusing on television, print, direct mail, and online channels. Before joining AARP, Brian worked for several years as head of communications for the pharmacy benefit management division of Aetna and as head of marketing for Aetna’s mail-order pharmacy playing a leading role in communication improvements and market share gains. He also spent several years with CIGNA in project management and marketing roles, exploring new business opportunities and launching new products and services. In total, Brian has spent nearly a decade working on some of the most powerful healthcare and membership brands in the United States.
 
 
 
Tina McCormack, Senior Director
McCormack joins C.Fox Communications with a deep understanding of communications, specifically in the nonprofit sector.  Previously, McCormack was Director of Communications for Starlight Children’s Foundation MidAtlantic, a health focused nonprofit with a mission to bring joy to seriously ill children.  There, she was responsible for developing communication strategy and tactics, launching a new brand for the organization, creating strategic partnerships and producing large scale galas.        
 
Before joining Starlight MidAtlantic, McCormack worked for the leading digital media company, FierceMarkets, playing an integral role in business-to-business events and sponsorships. She managed various executive events in the wireless, telecom and healthcare industries across the country in conjunction with leading industry tradeshows. McCormack also spent several years working with high profile consumer brands, various Fortune 500 companies, and small start-ups consulting on PR tactics and event strategy. 
 
 
 
Lauren Reese, PR Associate
As PR Associate, Lauren Reese is responsible for media relations, writing and creative development for a number of C.Fox clients.  Since joining the agency in 2008, Lauren has developed creative consumer-focused campaigns, landed feature press coverage, managed multiple client communications - including the development and production of newsletters, webcasts and brochures—and she has implemented creative social media campaigns to benefit her clients’ bottom lines. 
 
Prior to joining the agency Lauren spent time with an award-winning broadcast public relations agency and a top sports cable network, both in Washington, D.C.  She is a local product of American University's School of Communication, where she graduated with honors.

 

 
Julie Feldman, PR Associate
Julie Feldman first started with C.Fox Communications in 2007 as an intern, before graduating from the University of Maryland, College Park in 2009 and joining full time.  As PR Associate, she is responsible for media relations, writing, and creative development for a number of clients.  In the constantly evolving world of social media, she is also an important player in social media strategy for several clients where she has planned several facebook campaigns and live twitter discussions.  Julie also manages many in-house graphic design projects and supports senior staff in event production.
 
Prior to C.Fox Communications, Julie interned with Kelley Campaigns, LLC where she worked with several clients in the environmental policy sector, focusing on green issues both regionally and nationally. 
 
 
Arron Robinson, Senior Consultant
Arron Robinson brings years of experience providing strategic communications counsel to help build brands, influence consumer loyalty, and solidify relationships between business organizations. She has managed special event media relations for a wide variety of nonprofits; elevated awareness for health and beauty brands such as OLAY Vitamins® and  Nature Made Vitamins® and led B2B communications efforts for a number of organizations. From brand launches and new product news to editorial features and partnership announcements, Arron has secured impactful coverage with local and national media including: Allure, BusinessWeek, First, Florida Investor, Los Angeles Times, ModernMom.com, Newsweek.com, New York Times, Real Simple, Reuters, San Jose Mercury News, St. Louis Post Dispatch, Upscale, U.S. News & World Report, Vanity Fair, Vibe Vixen, Wall Street Journal, WIRED UK and Woman’s World to name just a few. Arron received a B.S. in Public Relations from Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications in Syracuse, New York.
  
 
 
Melissa Mazzella DeLaney, Senior Consultant 
Melissa has more than eight years experience working in public affairs and policy, as well as political communications.  She has developed message and media strategy for high profile, international and controversial issues; created effective news events; worked as a spokesperson to various public officials, including Cabinet-level positions; worked with local, national and international reporters and news outlets; responded to crises; worked closely with news outlets to book officials and surrogates; written speeches and op-eds; media trained high level officials and used the media for strategic management of a legislative agenda or public policy issues. Most recently, DeLaney spent the last two years working at the U.S. Department of Transportation as Press Secretary for former Secretary Mary E. Peters, where she developed and implemented media relations strategies on aviation congestion issues and structured media events across the country. Prior to joining the Secretary’s central communications team, she was Communications Director for the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration, where she managed the agency’s public affairs strategy and operations.

 

 
Meredith Resnick, Senior Associate
Meredith comes to C.Fox with years of experience as a broadcast news professional. She spent more than a decade as part of the Washington press corps with some of the top news operations in the nation's capital. Having worked with both government and private-sector clients to hone their communications and media outreach efforts, she provides keen insight into what clients must know to be successful newsmakers. Her work as a journalist and as a public relations professional has appeared in both local and national media.

 

 
 
 
 
 
Kirsten Ullman, Senior Associate
Kirsten brings experience from positions in business, government and international relations to C.Fox Communications, for which she has worked since 2007. Kirsten has worked with leading pharmaceutical companies, non-profits and associations to provide communications strategies and media relations services.

Prior to working with C.Fox, Kirsten worked for a leading Fortune 50 wireless communications company and a prominent Washington, D.C. public relations firm where her clients included the U.S. Army and several health care companies. Her international experience includes working for the Embassy of Australia in Washington, D.C. Kirsten has developed successful product launches and community outreach programs that have generated national media exposure for her clients. She thrives on the challenge to have her client’s message heard.
 
 
Kelly Davidson, Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator
Kelly brings ten years of experience to her position as Executive Assistant/Marketing Coordinator at C.Fox Communications.  Formerly with Crown Consulting LLC and PFC energy, she has been responsible for critical day to day administrative needs, as well as oversight on branding strategy, large scale conferences and seminars, and media communications.  Her skills include event planning, project management and web development and she’s quickly proving an invaluable asset to the C.Fox team.

 

 
 

Kelly Hickman, Intern
Kelly joins C.Fox Communications as an intern while completing her masters degree in Public Communication at American University.  She is responsible for assisting the C.Fox team in media relations and coordinating special events.  Prior to attending American University, she graduated with distinction from the Schreyer Honors College at the Pennsylvania State University.
