Project Description

Nick Irons

Nick Irons is an ultra endurance athlete, who, in 1997, swam the 1,500+ mile Mississippi River to raise money for Multiple Sclerosis, the disease his father suffers from. Nick was the first in 70 years to accomplish the challenge, and the first ever to do so with the locks and dams of its modern form. Shortly after his swim, he biked over 10,000 miles across the US to continue his fundraising efforts. Now, Nick is head trainer and owner of Get Results! Personal Training in Bethesda, MD. With Nick’s amazing background and credentials, he came to C. Fox Communications to position him as an expert trainer and resource, and with the hope of landing his own Ask the Trainer column. In just one month, C. Fox Communications secured Nick an Ask the Trainer column in Shape Magazine, a feature in the Washington Post Health section, and an Ask the Trainer column in DC Metro Sports Magazine.
